THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

  • Work with FIFA divisions to plan annual budgets and regular forecasts,
  • Evaluate and challenge budget entries using insights derived from analysis of historical data and project specifics,
  • Consolidate FIFA’s expense budget (in two different views), including operating expenses, personnel expenses, depreciation, financial expenses and taxes,
  • Provide commentary to senior management on budget and forecast variances,
  • Contribute to the section of the FIFA Annual Report section relating to budgets and expenses for the reporting year,
  • Financial reporting and analysis of FIFA’s budget consumption per division and specific areas such as personnel and freelance expenses,
  • Reporting, analysis, and review of open contracts and purchase orders of FIFA’s divisions, providing the estimated committed budget consumption,
  • Project controlling of FIFA development programmes such as Football For Schools and the Talent Development scheme,
  • Maintain cost object master data in SAP,
  • Review and approve year-end accrual and prepayment requests from the FIFA divisions,
  • Reconcile accruals and prepayments throughout the year to ensure accurate balance sheet and income statement reporting.
