JOB TITLE: Kit & Equipment Coordinator (Women’s Team)

DEPARTMENT: Kit & Equipment

JOB FUNCTION: To assist the Women’s, Men’s and the Academy teams in the preparation and printing of match shirts & to assist all kit departments when required.

LOCATION: Cobham Training Ground.

CONTRACT: Permanent – 20 hours per week over any six days with flexibility to work on evenings and weekends as required.

PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):

  • Main duties will be preparing and printing match kits for Women’s, Men and Academy teams.
  • Control of shirt and print stock with some ordering duties.
  • Assisting with player shirt signing sessions when required.
  • Assisting the coaching and kit teams with the set up of daily team training sessions at times.
  • Supporting coaching staff with on-pitch assistance to ensure the smooth running of the team training sessions. This will include direct involvement in the training sessions at times.
  • Assisting the kit department with making sure players and staff are displaying the correct products and branding at all times.
  • Maintenance and safe storage of equipment and footwear. This will include the pressurisation of footballs, cleaning of equipment and the cleaning of football boots at times.
  • Assisting the coaching and kit teams with any reasonable requests.

PROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification):

  • Role will include some weekends and bank holidays so the need to be flexible
  • Previous experience of shirt printing and stock control
  • Physically fit and capable of joining in training sessions.
  • First aid qualification desirable
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) desirable
  • Friendly & approachable, with the ability to develop good relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Experience of working in an elite sporting environment desirable.
  • Confident and effective communicator.
  • Proactive and able to work independently.
  • Team player who is enthusiastic and positive.
  • Clean driving licence desirable.
