Falcons Superfan Engagement Intern

The Entertainment and Live Events department is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as the Atlanta Falcons Superfan Engagement Intern from June 3, 2024, to May 30, 2025. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to manage the superfan loyalty program. The qualified individual will also assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of superfan events. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, highly responsive, initiative-taking, and flexible. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate who has finished school within the past year. Hourly compensation is provided for this position (no more than 30 hours weekly). Housing, relocation expenses, and benefits are not included.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for the Atlanta Falcons superfan rewards program
  • Manage accounts, sweepstakes, redemptions, prize store inventory, and distributions, and oversee app supplies.
  • Track Atlanta Falcons superfan app behavior, identify trends, and suggest engagement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough comprehension of the application and its functionalities to enhance its development and user experience.
  • Act as the program liaison between the Dirty Birds Nest Program and digital stakeholders
  • Guide the onboarding process and customer service for the app.
  • Work Atlanta Falcons tailgates and home games.
  • Collaborate with the Atlanta Falcons Digital Team to ensure seamless app integration.
  • Provide departmental support for home games, training, and other in-market initiatives.
  • Contribute to routine administrative processes, including document preparation, meeting coordination, PowerPoint assets, etc.
  • Support event set-up for the superfan section, tailgate, and other events
  • Contribute to the daily needs of the Entertainment and Live Events department.
  • Assist with Atlanta United match day needs when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • A prior internship, volunteer work, fan engagement, group management, database input, or operations experience is required.
  • Familiarity with the FanMaker platform is preferred.
  • Coding is NOT required.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Must be available to work in ALL Atlanta Falcons home games and super fan events.
  • Proactive problem solver with experience developing solutions for app users.
  • Availability on evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in customer service or account management
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Must be an experienced collaborator in a team setting.
  • Must be able to move 35 pounds and active for 8+ hours at a time, indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Teams
