Supervise, instruct and establish work schedules and daily work assignments for FT and PT housekeeping associates in designated zones/locations. Oversee safe use of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.
Inspect completed work to ensure it aligns with AMB/MBS standards and submit end-of-shift reports.
Ensure Housekeeping/Janitorial closets, storerooms and RRR (R3) spaces are always kept in clean and orderly condition.
Monitor inventory quantities of remote housekeeping storerooms in assigned locations and communicate needs to Housekeeping office to maintain proper readiness levels.
Coordinate and execute annual project deep cleaning activities with Manager of Housekeeping Services.
Report building/room/space damage or defects to Housekeeping office for entry into work order system.
Recognize associates through our Values in Action program for associates who live our values in exemplary ways.
Support Manager’s pre and post-event team huddles and debriefs by sharing best practices, updates and event information as relevant for staff’s knowledge.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a building or project of significant scale and complexity.
In depth knowledge of commonly used housekeeping/janitorial practices, procedures and concepts.
Strong supervisory skills, ability to delegate responsibilities
Ability to interpret Event Outline releases and coordinate daily work response. Excellent communication skills (both written and presentation)
Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
Bi-lingual (Spanish) desired
Ability to work flexible/long hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
