Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United and opened for its first events in August 2017. Position Summary

We are hiring for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This individual will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and assist in the day-to-day and month-end accounting for Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Additionally, s/he will assist in the completion of the Company’s annual audits and on various special projects. S/he will provide strategic support to the finance team and management including process documentation, controls implementation, treasury management and other requested projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the estimate, settlement, accounting, and reporting for stadium events
  • Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining relevant records and files
  • Assist in the preparation of account reconciliations
  • Effectively communicate issues and errors to management
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and other projects as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Interest and/or experience with stadium/entertainment accounting and reporting a plus
  • Great Plains, Concur, and Adaptive experience a plus

  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to support events as needed
