Intern, Marketing Advertising and Media Partnerships
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing department with Advertising and Media Partnerships.
Intern Requirements
- Must be a senior or postgraduate student, or within one-year post-graduation with preferred majors of Marketing, Advertising, or Business and pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university. (If you do not meet the internship requirements, please do not apply.)
- Must be able to work in-person at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ the entire duration (February 2024 – October 2024) of the internship, this is not a remote position.
- Maximum of 30 hours per week
Primary (Essential) Duties
- Complete recaps of corporate partner inclusion in advertising
- Track website updates for dbacks.com and D-backs email newsletters
- Assist with digital advertising campaigns and website updates as requested
- Assist with D-backs email campaigns as requested
- Assist with execution of events
- Submit requests for advertising creative
- Submit photo requests and curate photo collections to use for advertising needs
- Log advertising proof of performance and invoices
- Perform administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
- Strong interest and knowledge in marketing and advertising
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong copywriting skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must enjoy being involved in several projects with the ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Ability to work game nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
