Job Summary:

The Arizona Coyotes are looking for fun, energetic, outgoing individuals to become a part of the Coyotes Street Team. If you think you have what it takes to engage Coyotes fans around the state, market the Coyotes brand in the community, and promote the team with pride, then apply now to represent Arizona’s NHL team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the Coyotes in a professional and respectful manner while interacting with members of the community.
  • Set up and break down marketing presence and activations at Coyotes community/marketing outreach appearances at festivals, runs, expos, fairs and other events as needed, as well as supervising the activities and engaging with participants at the event.
  • Staff Coyotes home games by assisting with inflatable interactives, patio party, fulfilling in-game fan experiences and giveaways.
  • Work both on and off-site events (i.e. home games, special events, sports tournaments, partner appearances, festivals, non-profit, etc.) in an effort to promote the Coyotes.
  • Gather fan information as a source of lead generation for the Coyotes sales department.
  • Generate new information and ideas, and provide a report of your findings after each event.
  • Distribute marketing materials and promotional items at various events, as assigned.
  • Operate and maintain promotional equipment including but not limited to: mobile promotional vehicles, giveaways, inflatables, tables, tents and other set-up elements.
  • Utilize grassroots and word-of-mouth marketing techniques to grow the Coyotes brand.
  • Other Duties as deemed necessary or as directed by the Manager of Event Marketing

Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have a positive attitude and have the ability to collaborate and work well with others
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment
  • Possess a friendly demeanor and interact with fans in a positive way
  • Requires extended periods of standing; and ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance and a good driving record
  • Ability to work in Arizona weather conditions
  • Strong knowledge of sports, specifically Coyotes hockey
  • Must have flexible hours; including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work 75% of Coyotes home games at Mullett Arena
  • Must be able to work at least 4 events per month
  • Must be dependable
  • Must have reliable source of transportation
  • Live and represent the Coyotes Brand

Education and Formal Training:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, sport management or relevant field; Or recent graduate within six months.


  • Previous marketing, promotional or brand ambassador experience preferred.
  • Previous experiential marketing team experience is a plus.
  • Experience with a professional sports team is a plus.
