BWT Alpine F1 Team have an exciting opportunity to join our team at a unique time in our history within Formula 1. We are looking for an Hydraulics Technician at our site in Enstone who will join our Build and Test department [Operations] to support the car’s transmission life cycle, helping the Team to achieve our goal to win the Formula 1 World Championship.

The Role:

The hydraulics technician will be responsible for all car hydraulic components life cycle. This includes the assembly, service, repair and test of both, new and in-service assemblies and their associated components for our Race Team, Race Support Team, and various development projects (on-site and external), alongside with complying to the company systems that support our components life cycle. They will be required to work to the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications, to ensure delivery, performance and reliability targets are met efficiently and on time.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge of building, servicing, and repairing components. They will have a good understanding of assembly methodologies, test, and systems used in the industry. Having specific experience on hydraulic systems life cycle will be advantageous.

They are expected to have good understanding of Health and Safety at Work regulations.

They will be flexible to cover external tests and/or races if required, having to work independently where necessary.

They will also have passion for problem solving, combined with the ability to perform tasks to the highest standards.
