SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and independent recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for a wide variety of roles across our organization. This includes supporting recruitment for executive-level, technical, operational, and entry-level positions across our NBA and NHL teams, the Delta Center, and other business functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, excels in strategic recruitment planning, and can confidently collaborate with a diverse group of hiring managers.
This is a fully on-site role based in our Salt Lake City offices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including finding, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers for positions ranging from entry-level to executive leadership.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers to thoroughly understand hiring needs, provide expert guidance on candidate selection, and establish a trusted partnership that drives success, delivers consistent results, and reinforces credibility– You function as a true partner to hiring managers, actively collaborating and providing strategic input, rather than simply fulfilling requests.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates for both technical and non-technical roles across the organization.
- Ensure a best-in-class experience for all candidates, showcasing team’s culture, values, and mission.
- Implement efficient, scalable, consistent, and effective talent acquisition processes and technologies which support the company’s continued growth and key business priorities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using innovative sourcing methods, including social media platforms, networking, and industry events.
- Track and analyze recruitment KPIs to identify trends and optimize the hiring process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club as an employer of choice through social media, career fairs, and community events.
- Curates a comprehensive and engaging onboarding experience by designing and implementing processes that ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to succeed in their roles.
- Completes all onboarding tasks, including conducting background checks, drug screenings, E-Verify processes, and other pre-employment requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions.
- Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Protect the reputation of the company

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with a proven track record of hiring for diverse roles, including technical, executive, and operational positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; SHRM or similar certification is a plus.
- Ability to manage the recruitment process autonomously, making decisions and solving challenges without constant oversight.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the resilience to handle challenging and high-pressure situations and personalities.
- Expertise in creating and executing recruitment strategies tailored to varying levels and functions within an organization.

- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
