Strategy for Winning:
UFC’s Internship Program is designed to provide interns the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained through their academic experience in a real-world corporate setting. Over the course of the program, the interns will become fully immersed in the daily operations of their department and will be directly involved with tasks and projects that contribute to UFC’s continued growth.

UFC’s Internship Program is open to any student who is currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. This is an in-person internship in Las Vegas, NV. UFC does not provide relocation, housing, or transportation assistance.

The Spring 2025 program will begin on January 13, 2025, and will continue through May 2, 2025

Position Summary:

This program offers the intern the opportunity to become directly involved in the day-to-day activities in the Finance & Accounting department at Zuffa. We strive to make the internship experience challenging and interesting and make every effort to tailor it to the intern’s specific career aspirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops an understanding and ability to use the finance department’s primary software tools: JD Edwards (accounting system) and Insight (financial statement, analysis, and forecasting tool).
  • Assists with the preparation of event budgets, beginning with the original budget through to populating actual results.
  • Identifies discrepancies between forecasted event budgets and actual results.
  • Enters historical department, territory, and event budget and actual information into Insight.
  • Learns how to forecast and prepare an annual budget for a mid-sized company, and also how to maintain and track that budget as actual results occur.
  • Understands external audit process and the compliance requirements.
  • Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

  • Must currently be enrolled in a relevant academic program, Junior or Senior standing preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.
  • Team player.
  • Willing to learn and grow.
