The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking a hard-working and team-oriented individual to join the team.


  • Install wired and wireless voice and data networks.
  • Install video surveillance equipment (Cameras, Switches, Servers)
  • Install and conduct routine maintenance of structured cabling systems (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Fiber, and Coax).
  • Remove and rearrange audio/visual, voice, and data equipment around the stadium.
  • Tests, troubleshoots, adjusts, and performs minor repairs of audio/visual, voice, and data equipment around the stadium.
  • Provide appropriate customer service when responding to a customer request or fulfilling project requirements.
  • Delivery and Setup of audio/visual, voice, and data hardware.
  • Isolating hardware and line troubles.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks and troubleshooting on all audio and video systems around the stadium.
  • Assist other Technicians (Help Desk Staff) to troubleshoot and optimize both the video and audio components around the stadium.
  • Understand and make appropriate changes to audio and video system configurations.
  • Manage inventory and life-cycle management of equipment and ordering supplies.
  • Configure conference rooms for audio and video conferences and briefings as required daily. Coordinate with requestors on meeting requirements and provide documentation of support.
  • Supplement Help Desk with daily assigned tasks and projects.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.


  • Knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Familiarity with hardware and software installation
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
  • Excellent customer service skills over the phone, by email and in-person
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
