Job Summary:

This full-time position provides network support for all associates of VSG along with the Tier 2 systems and telecommunications for functions including concerts, sports events, watch parties, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences. This position is responsible for responding to requests in a timely manner under the direction of Director of Technology Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

β€’ Provide all end -users and guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Plus Service
β€’ Provide primary support for wireless and wired networking and telecommunications systems
β€’ Full proficiency in on-prem, cloud and hybrid operating environments
β€’ Monitor service desk email and ticketing system and resolve Network operations tickets in an efficient manner
β€’ Respond to all pertinent IT incidents during assigned shifts on-site or via phone or email
β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of network & computer issues
β€’ Enforce IT policies and procedures, document work appropriately
β€’ Evaluate, recommend, and install utility software to protect various systems and enforce computer security measures as needed
β€’ Install hardware and software as needed
β€’ Assist in maintenance or repair end-user equipment including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, docking stations, monitors, and peripheral equipment
β€’ Assist in the resolution of issues that arise with multi-functional devices and printers
β€’ Analyze and recover systems when malfunction occurs
β€’ Follow established SOPs for pre-event facilities checks and follow departmental notification SOPs for issue resolution
β€’ Any additional tasks deemed necessary for proper performance of IT department responsibilities

Game/Event Responsibilities:

β€’ Yes, approximately 120 games or events a year
β€’ Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends

Qualifications:

β€’ 1-3 years of related IT experience
β€’ Candidate must be proficient with the following hardware
- Cisco Switches, concentrators, aggregators, and routers
- Fluke, Aircheck, and other network troubleshooting hardware
- Ethernet cabling, patching, cable creation, and troubleshooting
- NAS & SAN platforms
- Corning One Fiber backbone
- Corning One ONT hardware
- Palo Alto Firewall
β€’ Candidate must show proficiency with the following software systems
- Azure/Active Directory & AD Connect
- Auvik
- Cisco iOS
- CodeTwo
- Mimecast
- GlobalConnect
- Anti-Malware software and solutions
- Identity Management (SSO, MFA, Spoofing protection)
- Cybersecurity procedures and User testing and training (PhishER and QRadar SEIM)
