Job Summary:
This position will work with hockey data to fulfill given directives as well as the ability to create new projects and communicate results. This role will be part of a team-based environment in the hockey analytics department. Here is a unique opportunity to create impactful solutions in a growth-minded environment and culture. Requirements:
β’ Computer Science, Math, Engineering or Physics major or degree
β’ Experience writing modern Python code
β’ Experience using SQL or NoSQL databases
β’ Familiarity with Git/VCS ο· Ability to write geometric and physics analyses
β’ Ability to problem solve and a desire for personal development
β’ Experience working in a team-based environment
β’ Ability to interpret results and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience/knowledge of statistics and probability
β’ Experience working with time series data
β’ Machine learning concepts and applications
β’ Advanced statistical modelling
β’ Familiarity working with sports data
