Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Service Specialist at Golden 1 Center. As Guest Service Specialist you will get to go above and beyond to create unforgettable moments for our fans. From providing arena/event information to addressing fan feedback and concerns, handling seat relocations, ADA accommodations, and more, your proactive approach will ensure that every guest leaves with positive and lasting memories. Availability:

  • Part-time, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays as per the Golden 1 Center event calendar.
  • A commitment to be available for at least 80% of monthly events, including All-Call events, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly and attentive to the needs of fans and guests visiting the Guest Services desks on the Plaza and Bridge Levels.
  • Aid in resolving ticket-related issues as required
  • Aid in ADA relocations and other accommodations.
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient in using the Kings + G1C app to assist guests with in-app promotions.
  • Maintain supply log and submit to management for ordering.
  • Maintain incident/guest complaint log and submit it to management
  • Address multiple guest concerns professionally and empathetically.
  • Check-in guest wheelchairs, strollers, and other items to keep aisles clear.
  • Collect and log lost items to be turned into Lost and Found.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of basketball, events, and the arena, including event schedules, food options, merchandise locations, security protocols, and first aid services.
  • Stay informed about any special activities, functions, or promotions on a given day and maintain a strong understanding of all areas of the arena.
  • Be familiar with the emergency evacuation plan, and exit routes and remain composed in the event of an emergency, providing clear direction and guidance to guests.
  • Willingness to assist with Ambassador duties when necessary.

Required Experience, Skills & Availability:

  • Complete multi-department training program.

  • Adhere to proper appearance standards.
  • Work accurately and courteously in high-pressure environments.
  • Availability to work evening games, concerts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Weekly hours will vary depending on scheduled events; not every event will require your presence. Scheduling is based on departmental needs.
  • Shifts will typically range from 4 to 8 hours in duration.
