Job Description

Red Bull Advanced Technologies has moved on from its pioneering Valkyrie program to work on some of the most ground-breaking projects across the globe. Along with developing a Hydrogen Powered Racing category for the ACO, Red Bull Advanced Technologies has forged exciting partnerships with BMC Switzerland & Alinghi Red Bull Racing and is leading innovation with many forward thinking and inspiring projects.Working from our campus in Milton Keynes, you will lead all procurement activities for Red Bull Advanced Technologies ensuring that the most suitable suppliers are engaged for each project under suitable commercial terms and agreements. Ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to the required quality level is a key focus.Your challenge:

Leading and owning Red Bull Advanced Technologies Purchasing function
Define and develop purchasing processes and strategy, in-line with wider group
Work with the Leadership Team to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with businesses key objectives and project delivery timelines
Actively seek out process and cost efficiencies across procurement related activities
Work with internal stakeholders to accurately forecast demand for materials, parts and services in the short, medium and long term
Lead, coach and mentor a purchasing team for Red Bull Advanced Technologies
Engage new and develop existing relationships with strategic suppliers and ensure class-leading delivery from these suppliers

You:

Considerable previous experience in procurement, ideally within a leadership position
Experince working within a fast-paced environment, ideally within Engineering
Demonstratable experience of supplier and contract management
Ability to influence at a senior strategic level
Technical knowledge and understanding of relevant project work
Ideally a member of CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
