SUMMARY:
Real Salt Lake Youth Soccer Camp Coaches will need to provide soccer coaching instruction to kids ages 5 – 13 who have registered and will participate in the club's official Summer Camps. Coaches are responsible for being educated on and teaching the Real Salt Lake Summer Camp curriculum, while also having the ability to teach the curriculum to children in every age group. We want hard-working, dedicated staff who love to teach the game of soccer.
This position will be responsible for assisting with the setup and takedown of soccer equipment. You will be expected to travel throughout the Wasatch front to visit soccer camps.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Runs training programs created by RSL Camps Department
- Performs set up of camp equipment at events
- Attends all caps and community events
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 95% of the work will be done in an outdoor environment.
- Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Must be able to provide your own transportation.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and hardworking.
- Bring energy, excitement, and fun to build a love of the sport of soccer.
- Build positive and energizing working relationships with players, club volunteer coaches, and parents.
- Must uphold the RSL values and represent the club and brand in a positive way.
- Must have strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Must have strong people and relationship-building skills to connect with players, club coaches and parents.
- Must possess a strong desire to grow soccer from a grassroots level.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have in-depth knowledge and love for the game.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Soccer playing experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 75 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc.
