Overview:
Comcast Spectacor is seeking an experienced Event Production Specialist to assist in the production and execution of events held at the Wells Fargo Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Control room liaison between engineering staff and game presentation for the Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova Basketball games and misc. events (Globetrotters, Big 5 Classic, etc.)
  • Day to day loading and operation of event and game-day elements within the video control room systems.
  • Own the creative, programming and schedule of the newly installed exterior LED boards and strut lighting for both events and day to day use.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather and schedule content to display as required on the exterior LED boards as well manage inventory.
  • Proficiency in systems including but not limited to Ross Xpressions, EVS and ClickFX.
  • Support Sr. Director and Sr. Producer on the project management of new control room construction and implementation.
  • Research, evaluate, and discuss alternative workflows for control room production.
  • Assist in administrative duties for game presentation such as crew scheduling, budget tracking, and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to serve as a control room operator for events.
  • Required to work flexible hours and days as production assignments dictate, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in arena, broadcast, television video and/or graphics production
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Media, Communications, Broadcast or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, steady demeanor in fast paced, high profile environments
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other file sharing and collaborative methods
