Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Ticketing Strategy, Analytics, and Insights to play a lead role in the evolution and growth of our ticketing business. In this pivotal role, you will develop initiatives to maximize revenue and optimize the overall ticketing experience. You will leverage your deep understanding of the ticketing landscape, including primary and secondary markets, and bring a track record of innovative pricing strategies. Your expertise in working with ticket brokers, repricing, and re-sectioning stadiums will be crucial in driving our organization's success. Additionally, you will be responsible for presenting data-driven insights and strategies to executive leadership in a compelling and impactful manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to inform ticketing decisions, providing regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Strategic Ticketing Insights: Develop and recommend forward-thinking ticketing strategies that maximize revenue and enhance fan experience, with a focus on both the primary and secondary markets.
Market Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of the ticketing industry, including major players and market dynamics, to inform and guide ticketing strategies.
Pricing & Forecasting: Develop advanced pricing models and revenue forecasting techniques, continuously analyzing market trends to optimize ticket pricing and sales performance.
Stadium Repricing & Resectioning: Lead initiatives for potential repricing and resection stadium based on data insights, ensuring alignment with fan demand and revenue objectives.
Broker Relations: Assist with secondary market strategy and optimization, developing insights and recommendations that help maximize value for the organization.
Executive Communication: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to the executive leadership team, clearly articulating ticketing strategies, performance metrics, and market opportunities.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Ticketing, Marketing, and other relevant departments to align ticketing strategies to achieve broader organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in ticketing strategy or related roles, with a significant focus on primary and secondary market activities; experience in baseball is highly desirable.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the ticketing ecosystem, including key players in both markets, pricing strategies, and broker relations.
Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting models, pricing software, and data visualization tools. Demonstrated experience in repricing and re-sectioning stadiums based on market demand and revenue potential.
Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategies end-to-end that drive revenue and optimize ticket sales.
Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience engaging and influencing executive leadership.
Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally and lead a team, driving alignment and execution across departments.

Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000
