Summary:

The New York Mets are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Mets Events seasonal part time staff. The Event Site Representative is responsible for assisting Mets Events with the execution of non-gameday events at Citi Field, focusing on the events held in the parking lot, such as food festivals, car shows, holiday light festivals, and other multi-day outdoor events.

This is a seasonal part-time position that runs from mid-September through early-January and the number of hours offered per week will depend on the number of events scheduled.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Communicate regularly with the client during the event
Serve as a liaison between event producer and Citi Field internal stakeholders
Manage daily event schedule and timeline to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintain the integrity of the parking lot and/or event space
Monitor the event and problem solve for any issues that may arise
Complete post-event recaps to distribute to the Mets Events event lead
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
Able to work holidays including but not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years (unless otherwise noted)
Ability to interact professionally with clients and guests
Ability to independently problem solve, requiring little direction
Team player with motivation to complete the task correctly
Able to stand for extended periods of time and walk lengthy distances
Patience and comfortability working with large crowds
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Must be available during the first week of September for training.
