Summer Intern - Box Office

The New York Jets are searching for enthusiastic, motivated candidates to join our team! This position is for anyone who is looking to learn and contribute to ticketing operations. This is a hands-on position helping the box office staff with daily operations.

Job Duties:

  • Assisting ticket operations department of all ticketing responsibilities
  • Archtics is our ticketing system that we use day to day. Training will be provided.
  • Creating accounts in Archtics and loading emails onto accounts.
  • Understanding Jets Account Manager mobile ticketing how to sign in, transfer tickets, pull up mobile tickets and saving tickets to wallet.
  • Supervising staff for all training camps dates including weekends.
  • Working with the ticket scanners for training camp and learning how they operate.
  • Assisting mobile ticket issues at all gates MetLife Stadium for pre-season games.
  • Updating the player roster into Archtics and making sure all player Ticketmaster accounts are active.
  • Ticket Assistance with other departments in the organization such as suites, sponsorship, marketing, and media tickets/parking.
  • Involved in testing PDF and mobile parking before its live on Jets account manager.
  • Generating invoices, creating PowerPoint docs for mobile ticketing, making payments to accounts, making calls to get credit card info, creating accounts, and assisting with Jets Account Manager.
  • In-house parking distribution onto accounts to manage online.
  • Assisting accounts on accessing tickets or parking with an email or phone call.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, proven ability to problem solves and act with a sense of urgency
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to accept all assignments, quick learner
  • Willingness to work weekends or extra hours
  • GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Must have own housing and transportation to and from Jets training facility, MetLife Stadium, special events.

This positions dual reports to the Vice President and Director of Ticket operations.

Anticipated duration: June 2024 through August 2024
