The New York Jets are actively searching for a security officer to work the overnight (10PM-6AM) tour at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center – 1 Jets Drive Florham Park, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Prior security experience
• Current or prior CPR and basic first aid certifications
• Willingness to work overnight (10PM-6AM)
• Willingness to work special events at the facility and stadium as needed
• Ability to always maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to think critically in all situations, at times under stress
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order of importance
Responsibilities:
• Work a fixed post monitoring incoming vehicles, cameras, and alarm systems
• Greet, screen, and register visitors to the facility
• Observe for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards and take appropriate action
• Respond to emergency situations and contact appropriate emergency services based on the situation
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents or suspicious activity occurring during your tour
• Provide a high level of customer service to all staff and visitors
