Job Summary:

The New York Jets are searching for enthusiastic, motivated quick learners to join the Premium Partnerships Department as Sales Development Representatives with a target start date of 2/3/25. This seasonal program is for anyone who wants to contribute to the sale of premium suites at MetLife Stadium for New York Jets home games and other events. Come join and learn from a highly talented team to be on the front lines of our sales process with an emphasis on B2B sales acumen to grow revenue at one of the most exciting properties in the sports and entertainment world.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop prospects to generate new business opportunities, focusing on businesses and high-net worth individuals
  • Contact and qualify potential customers using our sales tools, training, and process
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and uncovering new contacts
  • Directly prospect businesses in industries known to effectively use premium inventory across the region and nation
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and assigned sales executives
  • Work different New York Jets events and games as assigned to support premium sales efforts and promotional initiatives
  • Create opportunities to sell new full season tickets and groups by analyzing customer needs and selling top-down
  • Report to Senior Manager of Premium Partnerships with weekly and monthly progress against appointment and outreach goals

Qualifications /Skills:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree with a preferred focus in business administration, sales, marketing, sports management or similar concentration.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day.
  • Highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business.
  • Ability to work home games and other events as assigned.
  • 1-3 Years experience in a similar role or Business-to-Business sales function preferred
