The Bridgeport Islanders, AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, are looking for a Ticket Sales Intern. This position is paid, and applicants must receive school credit. This individual is expected to demonstrate ongoing alignment with the company's mission and core business values, as well as collaborate with key internal/external resources and practice ongoing self-development.
How to Make the Team
The Islanders are seeking an outgoing student looking to gain valuable experience working in professional sports. The Ticket Sales Intern will be responsible for assisting the sales team in all aspects of their business including lead generation, data entry, promotional support, ticket reporting, revenue generation and all other duties assigned by management. This individual will also be responsible for working all home games and overseeing the Islanders fundraising initiatives and assisting the groups working them.
Show Us You Can
- Organize and maintain sales documents & reports
- Assist with phones and reception during peak periods and game days
- Support Islanders sales team with game day requests, ticket office needs, etc.
- Work game nights assisting in sales initiatives, particularly with group sales, and fan experience execution
- Set-up and staff the sales booth on game nights
- Assisting Islanders staff with fulfillment of Season Ticket Member perks
- Data entry of ticket leads and follow-up with new plans
- All other duties as assigned by management

Where You’ll Go
- You will primarily report to our Bridgeport, CT office, along with:
- Attending home games and other events (events can fall on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
