We have an exciting opportunity for individuals to join our Liverpool FC Foundation team as a PL Primary Stars Coordinators. In this role you will support the delivery of the LFC Foundations’ current Premier League Primary Stars Programme and be tasked with supporting teachers to improve confidence in running PE lessons, supporting schools with educational activations and interventions, and working as part of a team across mass participation events.
The Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and Liverpool football club to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you must have proven recent experience delivering educational lessons (non-sports) in a primary school setting and have a proven track record of teaching in a classroom, including experience delivering PE sports to young people of all ages and abilities. You will hold the Level 3 TA/L4 HLTA award in supporting the delivery of physical education or working towards and a 1st 4sport level 2 award in multi skills development in sport or equivalent. You will have comprehensive knowledge of the PE national curriculum across KS1 & KS2, including an understanding of different teaching and learning styles. You’ll also have an awareness of safeguarding issues when working with children and young people.
You’ll be able to showcase your stakeholder management skills for internal and external, including your excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to organise and priorities workload effectively, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and adapt accordingly. It is desirable you will have an understanding of the Primary stars programme and have a sports development background.

This role is offering full-time fixed-term contract opportunities for a period of 12 months, working 35 hours per week, on a 5 from 7-day basis including evenings and weekends. Your main base will be Anfield Sports Community Centre, Liverpool however the post holder will also be required to work from other locations across Merseyside from time to time and be willing to travel within England and Wales.
