Job Description – Development Officer (Ringwood Community Hub)

Contract: Full Time: 37 hours per week including evening and weekend work
Purpose: To be responsible for the delivery of high quality football and physical activity sessions to based in and around our Ringwood Community Hub facility. This role will report to the Senior Management within the Trust.
Remuneration: Circa £30k dependent on experience and to be discussed at interview

Duties/Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high quality football and physical activity sessions
• Generate interest and develop existing and new activities across the site for specific targeted groups
• To take specific responsibility for work with grassroots football in increasing understanding and awareness of key issues and barriers i.e., disability and other under-represented groups
• Contribute to raising the profile and the perception of the Community Sports Trust in leading and developing local opportunities across football and social development
• Ensure that participants have a positive experience within Trust activities
• Identify, manage and develop relationships with key partners to meet the objectives and targets
• Compile reports for Senior Management and key partners
• Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of participants throughout all activities
• To undertake any other duties as advised by Line Manager or Senior Management
