Group Summary
The Project Management Team within the Marketing Business Operations organization will act as the conduit supporting the broader organization’s diverse functions and touch points in NBA Marketing. This role serves as the cross-functional ambassador for the Marketing organization.

Essential Functions and Job Summary
The Project Management Lead drives end-to-end project management and tracking of a marketing campaign. It provides cross-functional support to ensure cohesive, integrated workflows and communication throughout the campaign's lifecycle. Successful candidates will work cross-functionally across all Marketing subgroups (Global Fan Marketing, Creative, Media & Analytics, DTC, & Partnerships) and agencies, partnerships, regions, content, social, PR, etc., to ensure teams are working in concert with one another to hit key campaign benchmarks.


Major Responsibilities

  • Lead and track multiple 360-degree marketing campaigns and sophisticated creative timelines simultaneously across key campaigns.
  • Drive and operationalize campaign management process, better-coordinated execution, timeline adherence, and delivery across teams.
  • Spearhead documentation of clear RASCI outlining key stakeholder involvement, ownership, and accountability.
  • Develop a workback plan for key campaign steps, timelines, touchpoints, approvals, milestones, and results across Marketing and non-marketing departments during each campaign
  • Align senior leadership on progress updates and tracking high-level goals
  • Maintain clear project tracking, status, and risk assessments in the project management system.
  • Host meetings, drive agendas and cross-functional communication, and share recaps and next steps.

Required Education/Professional Experience

  • BA/ BS or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Production, or a related field

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

  • 7+ years working in 360 Marketing campaign project management
  • Demonstrated leadership track record and management skills.
  • Set standards, reinforce accountability, and establish rigor throughout the campaign process
  • Strong relationship-building skills, flexible, patient; able to collaborate and influence at all levels (internal/external)
  • Capable of working independently and handling a variety of initiatives/opportunities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects within a matrixed environment
  • Experience managing campaign lifecycles and applying task and workflow management tools such as Asana
  • Familiarity with digital asset management systems
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to change gears quickly and nimbly when changes happen to processes and projects

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000
