Position Summary

This position will support the NBA's Team & Labor Finance Department. This role's primary job responsibility is to assist with ticket and financial reporting procedures. An ideal candidate is a current accounting, finance, or sports management upperclassman or graduate student.

This role is a 10-month assignment with a time requirement of approximately 35-40 hours per week.

Major Responsibilities

Assist with gate and season ticket reporting processes for the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League.
Review ticket reports ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to League-required reporting standards.
Act as the primary League Office point of contact for teams during the gate receipts reporting review process.
Coordinate with IT and Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) on building and reviewing various League gate and season ticket reports.
Collaborate on cross-departmental projects incorporating information from the League Finance group.
Create presentations and assist with logistical planning as needed.
Manage ongoing communications with teams related to various financial matters.
Perform ad-hoc analysis as required.

Education

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related business field
Experience in an accounting, finance, or related business role
Experience in the professional sports, entertainment, media, or service industry preferred
Graduate education or professional certification in a related field is a plus

Salary Range: $23/hour - $25/hour
