Position Summary
This position is part of a growing Digital Growth team with the mission to discover, inspire, and engage fans worldwide. The DTC, Paid Media Strategist will support marketing initiatives globally for NBA’s product offerings and features aimed at growing fandom, consumption, and subscriptions across NBA League Pass, NBA App, and membership programs (NBA ID). Successful candidates can support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across paid media channels, including Search, Social, Display, and other channels. You are comfortable analyzing data to develop marketing insights and make informed business decisions. Success in this role requires a willingness to learn and collaborate with several cross-functional partners and external vendors.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support the Paid Media team, leadership, and other teams as needed with all aspects of campaign management, including implementation, creative trafficking, campaign optimizations, tracking code development, budget pacing, and reporting
  • Compile and maintain daily pacing across all channels and markets to gauge results compared to projections for campaign optimizations and reporting to leadership
  • Maintain pertinent business planning documents including but not limited to media plans and flowcharts, spend tracker, creative asset delivery tracker
  • Assist with the creative development process, including copy creation and translations
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate monthly record-keeping and billing reconciliation
  • Manage acquisition tracking link creation process in collaboration with the Analytics teamTemplatize wrap reports and manage deck creation to share campaign performance cross-functionally
  • Support with international regions management, including international campaign management (optimizations, translations, etc.), reporting and deck creation, communication, and project management
  • Generate Search Terms reports to gather keyword performance insights for SEM
  • Conduct industry trend research relating to vendor best practices and the latest products and services to identify potential opportunities to scale performance

Required Education/Professional Experience

  • BA/BS required

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

  • 2-3+ years of digital marketing experience with knowledge of paid media
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced setting without ready-made processes
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization to influence and drive results with key business partners
  • Strong understanding of search and social platforms, inclusive but not limited to Google and X (Twitter)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly with complex campaign setups across multiple languages and regions
  • Exceptional project management skills with a proven record of successful campaign execution
  • Experience with direct response campaigns and a strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Excellent written and presentation skills

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
