Position Summary:

The Video producer develops multimedia content as part of the Creative Services team for the Miami Marlins. This includes concepting and executing all facets of the production process with responsibility for quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness. They will work with the Creative Services team, internal clients and external partners to create a range of projects including: promotional videos, narrative content, short-form digital content, player and fan hype pieces and more. The position requires content capture, editing and pitching concepts to make impactful videos for the Miami Marlins. The individual should be a passionate storyteller highly adept at long and short form production. The Video producer should be able to lead creative and logistics on projects they are assign to and assist others to ensure quality throughout projects. They should have a strong eye and skillset for creative cinematography, editing, storytelling and ideating.

Essential Functions:
Conceptualize, create and capture compelling content

  • Exhibit compelling storytelling and editing through all content
  • Capture may include: event coverage, interviews, game-action, crowd and fan coverage, player video shoots
  • Shoot, edit and finalize video content for video projects for web, social, TV and in-game, optimizing video content for different platforms.
  • Working closely with clients and Video Manager to present a final product that meets the objective
  • Participate in meetings with internal clients to determine project scope and production schedules
  • Lead brainstorming efforts on assigned projects and work with Key Stakeholders to meet project objectives on final deliverable.
  • Meet and manage deadlines while ensuring quality output



Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3 years professional experience
  • High level of knowledgeable in all areas of video production, including filming, editing, lighting, sound, motion graphics, color correction, and publishing.
  • Expert knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Intermediate knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and Audition
  • Familiarity with sports, live events, or entertainment industries is a plus
  • Strong self-starter and capable of working independently
  • General understanding of computers and digital equipment and knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology
  • Familiarity with Mac and PC systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in receiving and acting on feedback
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines.
  • Able to work non-traditional hours including some weekends
  • Physical ability to lift heavy video equipment is required.
  • Reliable, dependable, and accountable to themselves and the organization
  • Spanish knowledge is a plus

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree
