Business Analytics Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

The BA Intern is an entry-level role supporting the Business Analytics team’s effort to derive data driven insights and to provide impactful data visualizations. This individual will assist in data analysis, assess data quality, perform data cleanup and perform general reporting analyses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Mine data for trends and insights that address major business issues
• Deliver timely reports, dashboards, and responses to ad hoc queries
• Help CRM Coordinator load sales campaigns and assessing campaign effectiveness
• Provide the marketing team with lists for targeted outreach
• Assist in MLB reporting
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Strategy and Analytics

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong project management skills
• Experience managing data and reporting systems; SQL proficiency a plus
• Experience creating dashboards and using data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new data tools
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills

ELIGIBILITY:

• BS in Statistics/Economics/Finance/Analytics/Math/Computer Science
• Masters / MBA preferred
• Live Event / Sports industry experience preferred
