Security Guard (Part Time)
Department: Security/Dolphins Camp
Direct Supervisor: Facility Security Supervisor
Status: Part-time / Hourly, Seasonal
Summary:
To observe and report at an assigned post. To ensure safety and enforces Company policy.
Essential Functions:
- Greets visitors at front desk and directs to appropriate areas.
- Patrol Facility on foot.
- Answer phones.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Responsible for logging keys and security pass cards to janitorial staff or other vendors.
- Logging in deliveries and informing staff of their arrivals.
- Responsible for logging all team vehicle activities.
- Maintain and monitor fire/burglar alarms and CCTV systems.
- Take action in emergency situations such as illness, safety hazards, or other unusual situations.
- Be able to implement policies and procedures as outlined in Security Handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Report writing skills.
- Ability to walk throughout the facility and climb stairs (especially for emergencies).
- Background check required (no criminal convictions).
- Verifiable employment history.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Basic computer skills. (MS Windows)
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard.
- Negative result on pre-employment drug screen.
- Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.
