The role holder will play a pivotal role in the Partnerships Intelligence team to support Global Partnerships drive commercial revenues through the acquisition of new partners and renew existing partners. The Partnerships Intelligence team allows City Football Marketing to stay abreast of the latest football and sports industry news and develop a competitive advantage in the sales process through the presentation of relevant category, geography, and company analysis.

This role will support CFG’s sales efforts across the globe to assist in the definition and implementation of commercial strategy

Your Impact

1.Provide relevant market intelligence via research and analysis into key categories, geographies and companies to identify key trends and potential partnership opportunities

2.Conduct sales support activities with internal stakeholders to create sales materials and strong proposals with a data-driven approach

3.Assist with development of asset and package valuations for proposals for potential partners and support the identification of new potential assets via market intelligence and benchmarking

4.Work with internal and external stakeholders to prepare/design bespoke surveys and analyse these to understand partnership impact and share insights in an effective manner

5.Consolidate research into fan and follower interest across CFG clubs and work with internal stakeholders (e.g. digital and social media teams, customer insights) to ensure all relevant information is available and updated for use within Partnerships

6.Collaborate with multiple key stakeholders across the business to report the performance metrics of partner content and campaigns

7.Identifying key trends and movements in the football / sports / entertainment industry

What we are looking for

Essential

  • 1 or 2-years’ experience within a similar role/department in the sports industry
  • Strong research skills
  • Highly analytical and comfortable managing large data sets
  • Experience building, analysing and presenting insights from bespoke consumer/market research
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of sports sponsorship
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting insights to a range of stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience tracking digital content performance
  • Familiar with media valuation
  • Second language that aligns with CFG club
