To support the delivery of Manchester City Football School and any additional CFME initiatives within the United Arab Emirates. Specifically focussing on supporting the delivery, development, and growth of the football school program.

Your Impact

1. You’ll play an active role in the delivery of coaching sessions, and to support the Head Coach to manage and develop the coaching team working within the program.

2. Ensure the quality of the program is of the highest standard possible adhering to the coaching philosophy, methodology and principles of Manchester City.

3. Support the Head Coach in relation to all program business, including ongoing effective communication to staff, players, parents, and internal departments.

4. To support the Head Coach in program operations and financial reporting.

5. To continually review operations and recommend areas of development to enhance the project as part of regular reporting processes.

6. To efficiently support the management and engagement of others where appropriate, the operations, logistics and admin requirements to successfully deliver a professional program.

7. To play an active role in the overall day-to-day operations of the City Football Middle East team, providing input and support, as well as supporting and managing the program in the absence of the Head Coach.

8. To always maintain professional conduct in both on and off field environments.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • UEFA B License (Level 3) or working towards
  • FA Youth coaching award or education in football development
  • Sports Education, Teaching, or management equivalent qualification.
  • The ability to lead, communicate and develop relationships with coaches, players, parents, and key business stakeholders.
  • To have the ability to manage and develop individual coaches within a team.
  • To have experience in developing players of varying ages and abilities, including reviewing and evaluating individuals.
  • To be proficient in preparing and recording of documents to support the coaching, reviewing the project, and presenting to others internally and externally.
  • To have the flexibility to travel if required to support international short-term projects.
  • To have experience implementing and developing a football coaching syllabus.
  • To understand player pathways and the development process of players.
  • To have experience working with players from varying backgrounds and cultures, as well as with a variety of ability levels.
  • To demonstrate experience in working with coaches on planning, preparation and reviewing of practical delivery.
