Summary

The Communication and Events Manager is responsible for working with other members of the Jaguars Foundation to create and implement community impact programming and branding. This position involves extensive coordination with many departments across the organization, including Public Relations, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Events, and Ticket Sales.

Reporting to the Director of Jaguars Foundation, the Communications & Events Manager will collaborate with the Public Relations, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Events, and Ticket Sales teams to execute communication outputs highlighting the Foundation's community impact. This role supports integrated marketing and communications efforts by coordinating and executing digital design content, managing social media channels, and providing operational and administrative support to the department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Point person for the Foundation for program content design and development, social and digital media engagement, community impact brand development, and annual Community Report.
  • Assists in creating funding proposal decks and photo management.
  • Coordinates with nonprofit partners to amplify the Jaguars Foundation’s messaging through these partners.
  • Executes logistics of Foundation fundraising, football development and program activations and events.
  • Maintains the Foundation’s event calendar.
  • Assist with Jaguars Foundation’s game day initiatives and activations.
  • Manage the design and creation of a range of content for digital and print publications, including graphics to support the project leads for the website, email communications, social media, slide presentations, brochures, and marketing materials.
  • Manage the Foundation’s social media content calendar, creating schedules and developing timelines across multiple platforms.
  • Execute updates to the Foundation’s websites and post media alerts.
  • Collaborate across departments to support print, electronic, and social media messaging and materials.
  • Collaborate with Foundation team members to develop, maintain, and strengthen the Foundation’s communications channels, brand identity, voice, and storytelling.
  • Proofread and update written material for communications, including social media platforms, email newsletters, intranet, external websites, and annual and quarterly reports.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors (photographers, videographers, and other partners).
  • Support, measure, and track community engagement across social and email channels.
  • Attend associated events for communications support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One to two years of event operations relevant experience
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to handle competing priorities
  • Able to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • Positive attitude, trustworthiness and passionate for work and the organization
