Slough Advanced Centre Head Coach

Work under the direction of the Pre-Academy Manager & Local Recruitment Manager on the delivery of the midweek Slough Advanced Centre programme. The target is to identify and develop the most talented U6-U8 players in the Slough and surrounding areas to support relationship building and recruitment/retention of players with high potential to join the Academy at U9's. This individual will be required to design, plan and deliver a tailored and individualised syllabus in alignment with Academy Coaching Philosophies & the needs of the individuals within the programme. This will include the co-ordination of Midweek Fixtures at Slough and Weekend Fixtures at the training ground to ensure the Advanced Centres receive an adequate games programme.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coaching:

- Lead Coaching sessions weekly at the Slough Centre.

- Support fellow Advanced Centre coaches in the aligned delivery of high quality training sessions.

- Plan/deliver and review all sessions in line with the academy coaching philosophies and Pre-Academy season plan.

- Lead on weekend Advanced Centre games programme for designated age groups in line with the academy philosophies.

- Use the club's appropriate incident reporting system when required.

- Responsible for signing in/out process & weekly communications for all Slough Advanced Centre players.

Player Management:

- Oversee the retention of players via relationship building with players and parents

- Oversee the week-to-week running of the Slough Advanced Centre

- Ensure the Academy value's are implemented in all sessions/games.

- Ensure all players have a positive experience whilst at Fulham.

- Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings supporting interdisciplinary working and player succession planning.

- Deliver regular feedback to parents and players at appropriate points in the season.

Talent Identification:

- Support Local Recruitment Team on the identification & recruitment of players into the Slough Advanced Centre.

- Support Local Recruitment Team on the ongoing assessment and evaluation of players within the Slough Advanced Centre Programme.

SAFEGUARDING
