The positions purpose is to be responsible and protect the Clubs assets, security of the grounds, its contents & the safety of staff and visitors across all Fulham Football Club & Fulham Pier premises.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• To open and secure the premises at the correct times and in the correct manner.
• To be fully conversant with the intruder and fire alarm systems and to report any problems that may arise with these systems.
• To carry out regular & varied patrols of the grounds to deter theft, anti-social behaviour and to detect fire.
• To record all incidents and tasks undertaken during every shift. These entries will be made in the security Daily Occurrence Book.
• To report any matter having a bearing on the safety of the club and its staff and visitors.
• To inform the Security Manager of any incident this may involve dishonesty or when Company rules and regulations have been broken.
• To carry out investigation as directed by the Security Manager involving cash, stock and property of the club and the personal effects of the staff.
• To conduct bag and vehicle searches on staff and contractors as directed by the Security Manager.
• To keep, the confidentiality of any matter concerning the club and Security department.
• To maintain a good working relationship with the staff and managers and encourage a high standard of Security.
• To maintain a smart appearance and to act in a courteous and professional manner when dealing with members of the public and staff.
• To issue keys from the security office and to record the issue and receiving of those keys in the appropriate register, reporting any missing keys or damaged locks.
• To record lost property in the lost property, register and to update the register when required.
• To ensure that all visitors are recorded in the Visitors Register, for the purpose of maintaining accurate records.
• To be fully conversant with the operation of CCTV, Access Control and Two way radio systems used by the Club.
• To be fully conversant with the Company rules and regulations, health and Safety at work and the Fire and Emergency procedures and ensure accurate logs of these are kept.
• To ensure accurate goods inwards records are kept.
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the business.
SAFEGUARDING
Fulham Football Club acknowledges that everyone has a responsibility for the wellbeing and safety of children, young people
and adults at risk who are under the Club’s care or utilising the Club’s facilities.
As part of Fulham Football Club’s commitment to providing a safe environment for children and adults at risk the Club
requires all staff in child, young person and ‘adult at risk’ facing roles:
• To be clear about the clubs responsibilities when running activities for these groups;
• Will have read and understood the suite of safeguarding policies including safeguarding children policy, adults at risk
policy, anti-bullying policy, whistleblowing and equality policy;
• Understand and promote staff and players code of conduct;
• Will understand how to refer a concern;
• To be consistent role models;
• To complete the Fulham safer Working Practice Workshop as part of induction and the FA Safeguarding Children
workshop; and
• To monitor repeated incidents of poor behaviour and liaise with their DSO or Head of Safeguarding.
