Physical Development Assistant Coach (Women)

The positions purpose is to provide holistic physical development support to FFCW 1st Team & U18 players. Ensuring each individual is progressing towards their physical development targets, based on key physical metrics.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support the 1st Team Physical Development Lead Coach deliver the physical development programme to the 1st Team, as required.

- Ensure ‘best practice’ is used throughout FFCW with specific regards to enhancing the physical performance of the players.

- Ensure continuity between the U18s physical development programme and the programme delivered with the 1st Team.

- Ensure each player has an appropriate physical ‘Individual Development Plan’.

- Lead on ensuring FFCW have access to required supplements to support physical performance.

- Lead on the functional football programme for any returning injured players.

- Undertake continued professional development.

- Support the highest levels of safeguarding.

- Lead, where appropriate, on physical development workshops with players.

- Attend all staff and player meetings as directed by the FFCW Head Coach and U18 Lead Pathway Coach.

SAFEGUARDING

and adults at risk who are under the Club’s care or utilising the Club’s facilities.

• To be clear about the clubs responsibilities when running activities for these groups;

• Will have read and understood the suite of safeguarding policies including safeguarding children policy, adults at risk

• Understand and promote staff and players code of conduct;

• Will understand how to refer a concern;

• To be consistent role models;

• To complete the Fulham safer Working Practice Workshop as part of induction and the FA Safeguarding Children

workshop; and

• To monitor repeated incidents of poor behaviour and liaise with their DSO or Head of Safeguarding.
