Foundation Phase Recruitment Manager

The positions purpose is to lead the identification and recruitment of talented players in and around the local region at the U9-U12 age range within the club’s catchment area in alignment with the broader Academy strategy and objectives. To be a crucial figure in our grassroots recruitment team and positively represent the Academy within the local area.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead on the identification process of players in local regions across the Foundation Phase in conjunction with the wider scouting department.

Facilitate the association and partnership between FFC and key stakeholders in the above regions (including grassroots clubs and other Football based programmes in the area).

Lead and coordinate the delivery of TID events across U9-12 age groups and support the coordination of the ADP for grassroots players alongside the YDP Recruitment Manager.

Manage the coordination of scouts and fixture planning processes across your phase on a weekly basis.

Alongside other Talent ID and Recruitment staff, support the Succession Planning process for players in your relevant age groups.

Alongside other Talent ID and Recruitment staff, support players transitioning away from the club to find a suitable next opportunity.

Work alongside the broader Academy MDT in relation to both recruitment and player development matters.

Lead the process for trialist integration and assessment between U9-U12s when required.

Support the process for player acquisitions between U9-U12s when required.

SAFEGUARDING

• To complete the Fulham safer Working Practice Workshop as part of induction and the FA Safeguarding Children

workshop; and

• To monitor repeated incidents of poor behaviour and liaise with their DSO or Head of Safeguarding.
