THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

  • Lead Women's Referee project path to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 including all tournaments, seminars and other activities required to prepare for this critical FIFA competition.
  • Establish, budget and implement a roadmap for Women's Referee Development.
  • Leadership of direct reports in all matters.
  • Collaboration with the Technology Ressource team for the development of Teaching Material for Development projects (Regional Instructors Courses, MA Courses, etc.).
  • Support the Director of Refereeing and organization of administrative tasks in coordination with Head of Refereeing Administration if needed.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a female FIFA referee or assistant referee and participated as a match official at 1+ FIFA Women’s World Cups.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of football.
  • High level experience as a FIFA Referee, Confederation or FIFA instructor.
  • Ability to create strategic (long and short-term) plans for referee development.
  • Passion for developing women referees with a deep understanding of their unique challenges.
  • Loyal and diplomatic with excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Inspirational and motivational management style.
