Coordinator, Fan Operations, FIFA World Cup 2026

Reporting organisationally to the Head of Fan Operations, the Fan Operations Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Project team and other key individuals responsible for delivering Fan Operation’s efforts to deliver the FIFA World Cup 2026 that for the first time ever, is hosting 48 teams and 1,200+ players across 3 countries and 16 venues.

THE POSITION

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Fan Operations Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
• Coordination of all meetings and working groups within the project
• Communicating with Host City counterparts and acting as the daily point of contact for fan operations delivery
• Responsible for the coordination and delivery of special fan group projects
• Support with all procurement, logistics and F,F & E planning
• Support in the creation of fan operations policies, procedures and planning
• Assist in overall planning and project management
• Responsible for the collation of the end to end fan journey
• Assist in ensuring all venues have the required collateral and tools for effective training delivery and implementation.
• Assist in the development of the ethos related to fan management and experience and ensure a successful and consistent roll out across all venues.
• Be a key contributor to all and any training programmes tournament wide in relation to fan operations.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education).
• Innovative and creative

• Positive attitude, patience and persistence.
• Sound judgement and able to prioritize tasks.
• International, cross-cultural work experiences preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an operation role within a sporting environment
• Awareness of fan or guest services at a major sporting event
• Knowledge of international football (soccer) and FIFA World Cups.
• Knowledge of event planning and event project management processes.
• Experience in the development and integration of operational plans.
• Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
