PT- Grounds Crew – Ballpark Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing grounds, turf and landscape maintenance assigned by the Head and Assistant Groundskeeper.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform turf and landscape activities such as such as dragging the infield for in-game maintenance, raking, tamping and watering the playing field.
Assist with maintenance and repair of irrigation system.
Assist with the set up and removal of batting practice equipment.
Prune and trim trees, shrubs and flowers.
Assist in the placement and removal of the infield tarp during inclement weather.
Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment and the shop work area.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and knowledge to perform routine manual and physical tasks regularly.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and consistent punctuality.
Ability to operate grounds equipment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:

The seasonal groundkeeper work schedule operates from March – October. Includes long and flexible hours during the baseball season such as weekdays, weeknights, holidays and weekends.

SALARY RANGE:

$18.29/hr. This is a part time position not eligible for all company benefits
