Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician (Weekend Shift McGregor Square)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for completing routine repairs and preventative maintenance on McGregor Square's building systems, life safety systems, building automation systems, and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete work orders assigned in Angus and update tickets appropriately (such as attaching pictures, notes, etc.).
  • Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on all equipment, including cabinets and furniture, basic plumbing, pool, hot tub, basic HVAC (filter changes), basic electrical, and doors/hardware.
  • Complete maintenance requests, take equipment, meter readings, and maintain log to notify the next shift and maintain the proper records for the Preventive Maintenance Program and the Work Order Program.
  • Set up and move interior and exterior furniture.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas, maintain vehicles, tools, equipment and stock of supplies and document all parts used and parts needed.
  • Carry a portable radio, communicate with the central base station, respond to all engineering service calls, prioritize guest/owner requests, and maintain equipment efficiently, safely, and accident-free.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment, including lifts, forklifts, carts, and power hand tools (e.g., circular saw, drill).

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact with the public, co-workers, and tenants professionally.
  • May assist in engineering and facilities operations at Coors Field related to building maintenance and remodel work.
  • Complete all work according to Safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions to leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have basic working knowledge in the following areas: tiling, painting, caulking, ceiling tile installation, rough carpentry, basic finish carpentry, and groundskeeping.
  • Must have experience performing preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on all equipment, including cabinets and furniture, basic plumbing, pool, hot tub, basic HVAC (filter changes), basic electrical, and doors/hardware.
  • Basic hand and power tool skills, including proper use and care.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of general maintenance experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must possess basic computer skills, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF.
  • Must communicate effectively and courteously with employees, tenants, guests, and contractors in writing, via telephone, and in person.
  • Strong ability to collaborate well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.

SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS:

SCHEDULE

  • The schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
  • Hours may vary due to project requirements such as special event schedules, seasonal preparation, etc. Advance notice will be given for schedule changes whenever possible.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work scope requires bending, stooping, carrying, climbing, ladders, and stairs.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying weights up to 75 lbs. and greater for all equipment and machinery.
  • Be able to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional help or appropriate devices), carry and climb ladders, work from heights, work in small crawl spaces, balance, stoop, and kneel.
  • Regular exposure to all weather conditions, both in extreme cold and heat.
  • Must be able to pull levers and rotate knobs, work with arms raised above the head, and handle and assemble small parts using basic hand and power tools.
  • Continuous standing is required in varying degrees throughout the day.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

  • $25 - 27 per hour. This is a temporary status, part-time position not eligible for all company benefits.
  • This position is eligible for certain benefits including: 401K, game tickets, paid sick time, and paid family leave.
