Account Executive, Outbound Sales
POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Account Executive, Outbound Sales, establishes connections and grows customer relationships to generate revenue by selling individual tickets, season tickets, mini-plans, group tickets, party facilities, suites, and all other ticketed inventory at Coors Field. We are looking for individuals interested in upside potential and eager to put in the time and effort needed to take our ticket sale business to the next level. Account Executives enjoy a high-energy and collaborative atmosphere where they build their book of business and help customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform outbound calls to generate sales and develop new business. Sales inventory will include, but is not limited to, Season Tickets, Mini-Plans, Group Tickets, Suites, Premium Areas/Locations, Party Facilities, Conference Space, etc.
- Utilize a consistent contact attempt process via phone, LinkedIn, and email to follow up, nurture, and qualify leads.
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly/yearly sales and productivity goals.
- Complete all assigned tasks, including follow-up calls and cold calls, up to 60 calls per day.
- Use the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), Salesforce, to track calls and provide detailed updates on lead lists, sales numbers, and overall progress.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, existing ticket holders, prospects, and any inbound/referral accounts.
- Assist with day-of-game and other special events.
Offseason
- Research and contact potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources.
- Maintain relationships with current customers for renewal opportunities.
- Assist with the Season Ticket and Passport renewal process.
- Participate in training sessions highlighting new sales techniques and customer buying patterns.
- Brainstorm and communicate recommendations for new sales opportunities/packages.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Archtics and Salesforce experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of ticket sales experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK SCHEDULE:
Schedule:
- During the baseball season, you must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
- Off-Season: Monday through Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.
- Must be willing to work at least 40 hours per week all year round.
Working Conditions:
- Sitting: must be able to sit 70% of the time.
- Standing: must be able to stand 30% of the time.
- Walking: occasionally moving about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Use of Hands/Fingers: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Talk/hear: must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand verbally and in written communication. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- See: must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
SALARY RANGE:
- Base compensation range is $50,000/year. In addition to the base pay, this role offers the opportunity to earn a commission on top of the base compensation, providing a total compensation range of $50,000 - $70,000/year. Total compensation is determined by candidate experience and generated revenue.
- As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job-related skills, and any other factors the Colorado Rockies consider relevant to the hiring decision for this position.
