JOB SUMMARY:

The 'Director, Global Partnership Marketing' is fully responsible for stewarding and growing given partnerships for the team. Partnership Marketing (PM) Team Members are the primary driver for the success of the partnership once a deal is initiated, acting faithfully to plan, execute, and measure for clients, while seeking to deepen commitments in a steadfast and proactive approach focused on growing the client’s business and their relationship with our organization. Successful PM Team Members will understand the importance of a full appreciation of the levers and opportunities in the client’s business and how to align them with our capabilities in our growing ecosystem of properties and portfolio capabilities.In addition, it is expected PM will bring awareness, appreciation and support of inclusive and diverse work practices and demonstrate this through their leadership behaviors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide consistent proactive communication, planning, feedback, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate an expertise in planning, activating, and measuring client programs and campaigns.
  • Deliver consistent recaps and reinforcement of results aligned to partnership goals and client-ROI evaluation.
  • Maintain all client records in CRM system, including up-to-date contact information, deal sheets, billing, and other activities necessary for accurate record-keeping and communication mechanisms.
  • Create proposals and presentations aligned to department guidelines and standards in place.
  • Lead partner communication and goals across department and inter-department relationships to drive excellence in activating or delivering contracted benefits and results.
  • Develop partnership briefs and activation plans to guide your own focus and that of other internal stakeholders (and client stakeholders where applicable) in fulfillment of contracted benefits, campaigns, and results.
  • Construct fully integrated marketing campaigns and concepts to align capabilities with client goals, separating our value-proposition from the competition.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Standard Office Hours 8:30am – 5pm.
  • Consistent attendance at department or company events and games.
  • Utilize technology and organizational tools for success.
  • Consistent and proactive communication with client stakeholders throughout their organization, with as much focus on live interaction (meetings, meals, phone calls, etc.) as possible, minimizing the overuse of email.
  • Proactive communication to team leaders and internal colleagues across departments.
  • Professional attire always.
  • Clean and organized workspace.
  • Focus on client relationships and investments, seeking to deepen commitments.
  • Follow brand guidelines and standards for proposals and presentations.
  • All significant deal-inflection points will be formulated on paper first, in a ‘soundtrack’ where your thoughts on background, insights, success factors, and approach for solutions will be prepared.
  • Provide and organize weekly or bi-weekly updates on account progress and planning to Team Leader.
  • Efficient time-management, respect for our process and for fellow Team Member contributions towards results.
  • All soundtracks and presentations shared and signed off on by Team Leader prior to internal circulation and prior to presentation to clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required**
  • 5+ years of leading high-value brand partnerships with a demonstrated record of revenue growth and creative solutions, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience leading cross functional work streams' and balancing multiple projects at once.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an environment that values independent thinking, self-initiative and completion of tasks and projects.
  • Strategic and revenue driven thinker who is extremely well organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to deepen key stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work nights / weekends / holidays / unusual schedules related to the NBA season.
