Position Overview:
Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a dynamic Account Executive of Membership Sales to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maximizing revenue, achieving sales targets and metric expectations, prospecting a pipeline of prospective clients through various tactics, and building strong, authentic business relationships. We’re looking for confident and driven individuals eager to advance their careers in the professional sports industry. The Account Executive will report directly to the Sr. Director of Membership Sales and Inside Sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive Revenue Growth: Consistently produce strong sales results for multi-match packages and a full range of Chicago Fire FC group and hospitality products.
- Achieve Outreach Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators, including call volume (80 calls per day), talk time, referrals, and appointments (5 completed per week).
- Prospect New Opportunities: Utilize creative strategies for appointment setting and relationship building, including outside meetings, networking events, and leveraging prospect tickets.
- CRM Management: Accurately enter and manage all prospect and customer information in the CRM platform to ensure effective reporting and pipeline management.
- Engage in Sales Events: Participate in sales, promotional, and team events to generate new prospects and referral opportunities, both during games and outside regular business hours.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all prospects and clients.
- Foster a Positive Team Approach: Maintain an optimistic, team-first attitude and a competitive drive to excel.
- Contribute to the Fire’s Sales Culture: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, positivity, professional follow-through, and openness to new ideas.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of sales experience required
- Must display a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to be a sports sales industry leader
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including all home games (or other work events) that fall on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business administration, or a similar field
- Experience with collegiate, elite, or professional sports sales
- Spanish language fluency
- Familiarity and knowledge with Ticketmaster Archtics and Salesforce CRM
