JOB TITLE: Fundraising Manager
DEPARTMENT: Chelsea FC Foundation
JOB FUNCTION: To manage and deliver the Fundraising function of the Chelsea Foundation
LOCATION: Role based in Stamford Bridge with attendance at Cobham required for ad-hoc meetings
CONTRACT: Permanent, 35 hours any 5 of 7
PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):
- Responsibility for developing and delivering fundraising initiatives to grow income in line with strategic priorities
- Supporting the CEO to develop key stakeholder relationships across Individual and Major giving and Corporate partnerships
- Developing and implementing plans for Individual and Major Giving
- Identifying opportunities to grow income sustainably to support the Foundation’s strategy and resultant key programmes and projects
- Working with and developing strong internal relationships as relevant with the Club and Foundation’s Board of trustees
- Management and oversight of Fundraising budget
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

PROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification):
Experience:
- An experienced fundraiser
- With proven success ideally in the fields of Individual and Major giving and Corporate partnerships
- Experience of working within the sports sector an advantage however not a requirement.
Skills and Behaviours:
- Excellent inter-personal skills and attention to detail to build strong and lasting relationships
- Ambitious, yet pragmatic with the ability to deliver results
- Has the ability to propose, justify, initiate and implement change and problem solving.
- Assertive, self-starter who works effectively and efficiently; demonstrating the ability to grasp the right opportunities which may present, alongside delivering as planned
- An ability to work with senior stakeholders to influence decision making for the betterment of all parties concerned
- Excellent team working skills which embody proactivity, enthusiasm and a hands-on approach.
