PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop engagement strategies to effectively build relationships and communication processes across the multi-generational Buffalo Bills Legends community.
  • Develop relationships based on credibility, trust, effective communication, and respect to effectively assess former player needs, establish programming objectives, and maximize participation in and effectiveness of Legends initiatives.
  • Integrate Buffalo Bills Alumni into relevant programming, marketing campaigns, sponsored campaigns, and NFL initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a communication strategy to engage, educate, and empower former players about accessible resources and services for former NFL players; maintain regular communication with Legends via direct contact, email or newsletter campaigns and events.
  • Ensure alignment across all internal departments related to Legends community programing, including Marketing, Media & Content, Business Development, Community Impact and the Bills Foundation, and PR.
  • Manage internal and external Legends community appearance requests, fulfillment and payment.
  • Plan, manage and execute any Legends community events.
  • Provide game day support for Legends community activations and initiatives.
  • Lead the Alumni Relations annual budget planning process.
  • Manage the onsite inventory of Alumni jerseys, jackets and memorabilia.
  • Ensure Alumni contact information is accurately represented in the Alumni database.
  • Coordinate and manage ticketing for various stadium events and all Buffalo Bills home games.
  • Maintain department files and archives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years prior work experience in a similar field.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and multi-tasking in a high-volume workload environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.
  • Works well independently.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a confidential environment.
  • Proven guest services courtesy skills.
  • Professional level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate and starting salary will be in the range of $52,000 - $80,000 annually.
