Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC officially began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium in Austin. Austin FC finished the regular season 2nd in the Western Conference, while also making a run to the Western Conference Finals during the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.

Austin FC鈥檚 Community Impact Team is actively seeking an intern that is interested in learning and capable of externally communicating with partners, building programs that leave a positive impact, researching qualitative approaches to serve a growing community, and managing opportunities to engage others through the power of soccer.

路 Has a flexible schedule and can work some evening and weekends?

You Will:

路 Work with the Community Impact Department on day-to-day operations; and

路 Be a part of the development and execution of community impact programming events both large and small (some evenings and weekends required); and

路 Support the Community Impact Team track and respond to community requests; and

路 Help analyze qualitative and quantitative data to help measure the positive impact Austin FC is having on the Austin community; and

路 Research opportunities and develop recommendations to present to the Community Impact Team; and

路 Be a part of other special projects within the Community Impact Team.

You Have:

路 Strong time management skills

路 Familiar with Microsoft Office and possess excellent written and oral communication skills

路 Nonprofit and/or grassroots experience preferred

路 Proficient computer skills and ability to learn latest programs and systems

路 English and/or Spanish language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus. Additional languages 鈥 even better
