Position Summary

The Facility Maintenance Electrician will assist in various areas within the Flowery Branch Facility department. The position will assist with various tasks related to the Atlanta Falcons Training Camp, Operations, and Facility Team. This position will be an integral member of the Facility team in-season and during the off-season.

Roles and Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to, the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop and manage associate relationships, ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.
  • Manage the sites in accordance with all agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope.
  • Assist with developing and implementing the annual management plan for the building/s.
  • Responsible for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, critical systems, HVAC, generator, and others defined for the facility.
  • Lead maintenance of work order systems and electrical projects for small-scale construction activities.
  • Run conduit and electrical wire to distribute power to the point of use.
  • Determines and places distribution panels, boxes, fittings, and connections and installs electrical wiring, couplings, conduits, relays, fixtures, transformers, and other electrical devices, including electrical service entrance equipment per code.
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, repair/replace belts, pulleys, bearings, gears, couplings, and shafts, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
  • Submits project completion documents upon project completion using required technology and systems.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree.
  • Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship and a valid Journeyman’s license.
  • Certification of OSHA 30 and NFPA 70B-E, safety procedures, regulations, guidelines, and electrical codes.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems: 10+ years of experience in all Electrical installations (Breaker, Panel, Switchgear, Lighting Controls, generator/transfer switches, and conduit installation).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing commercial equipment.
  • 10 + years of experience in low- and high-voltage.
  • 10 + years of experience in terminating and testing of fiber optics.
  • 10+ years of facility and project management. Understanding and reading blueprints and applying them to the layout.
  • Knowledge of pulling wire and terminating devices, including switchboards, circuit breakers, switches, transformers, and panels.
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints, electrical schematics, diagrams, instructions, and other technical correspondences.
  • Knowledge and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and how to research contents within.
  • Experience in refrigerant controls (metering devices), compressors, Split systems, and electric motor controls (contactors, starters, relays, disconnects, thermostats, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right the first time.

Required Skills

  • Highly organized with a solid attention to detail and business process.
  • Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing and concisely.
  • Strong communication skills and experience with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong experience in Preventative maintenance, HVAC, CMMS, BMS, and Access Controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates respect for internal and external departments.
  • Knowledge of conduit bending of numerous sizes and bending apparatuses.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate collaboration and strong communication between internal and external departments.
