Position Overview:

The Retail Coordinator will report to the Sr. Retail Manager, Authentics and Marketing and has a focus on all Braves Retail marketing initiatives, social media platforms and event promotions. This role will also oversee the retail phone order business and support the authentics business, each with sales goals that will support the overall Braves Retail sales and department innovation goals. The ideal candidate will enjoy customer service, be extremely organized and detail oriented, and enjoy collaborating with different teams to create exceptional fan experiences.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Work with Braves retail marketing team on strategic marketing plans, promotions, and events for all Atlanta retail locations, as well as be the lead on any events in the Braves Clubhouse Store & Threads.
  • Oversee Braves Retail social media platforms as designated by the Retail Authentics/Marketing Manager, as well as the Braves Retail customer service email account.
  • Schedule and implement monthly product photoshoots and update Social Media calendar daily.
  • Oversee the logistical planning and execution of Retail Pop-Up Shops and mobile events.
  • Oversee all phone/email order operations, including but not limited to, taking and processing orders/payments, handling mail-in returns, and shipping.
  • Hire, train & manage part-time Phone Orders staff.
  • Assist Authentics Manager with organization and distribution of authentics merchandise, including but not limited to creating inventory lists, assisting with autograph signings and pulling transfer orders for the Authentics Store.
  • Oversee the day-to-day Authentics business, including processing authentics phone order sales, shipping, making signage and updating Authentics Store daily.
  • Organize and manage the Authentics inventory cage.
  • Assist with in-store inventories both in season and off season.
  • Be available to work all home games including postseason.
  • Assist with in-house and retail jersey personalization orders as needed.
  • Work as a sales associate in all Braves Retail locations as needed.
  • All Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in social media or digital brand marketing preferred.
  • Previous experience with creative program, i.e. Photoshop or Canva preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with very positive and encouraging attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long hours, weekends and holidays.
